Our family has been dining here for 50 years! We had one of the first sausage pizza's Pete made. The sausage pizza still tastes deliciously authentic! The salad bar has some of the best salad I have ever eaten; everything is always very fresh and appetizing with at least 18 choices or more. The steaks are great, chicken can be ordered any number of ways, several kinds of fish are available- my favorite being the Pacific Salmon. Homemade Italian bread is included with your meal, and they will bring more if you run out!
We recently had a family graduation party there for our grandson, and we all enjoyed salads and several kinds of delicious pizza. We had a room to ourselves (32 people) and it was lovely; the wait staff is always very courteous. For more grown-up celebrations, the Baldacci room offers wine and spirits and a feeling that you are in Italy with the extensive murals on the walls. Sunday morning usually finds us in the Avanti room for their delicious brunch, which is extremely reasonable. The best thing though, for me, is the fact that the music is kept low, and you can actually talk to your dinner guests! All in all, when you want a great dining experience, I would heartily suggest Rastrelli's, Main Avenue, Clinton, Iowa.
